Security of Information

The Scientific Advice website uses Secured Socket Layer (SSL) technology to safeguard communications and transactions on the website, including our online application form.

Canada’s Drug Agency uses a secure, web-based email system for exchanging documents with applicants once engaged in the Scientific Advice program. All transmissions (including emails and documents) sent and received are encrypted, and access to the system is controlled by accounts and the use of passwords. Instructions on the use of this system will be provided to applicants upon approval of their application. Use of the system is required by applicants to ensure security of information exchanged with Canada’s Drug Agency.
