2024 Recognition Awards Now Accepting Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for 4 prestigious awards for outstanding achievement in the field of health technology assessment (HTA) in Canada.

The Dr. Jill M. Sanders Award of Excellence in Health Technology Assessment recognizes individuals whose outstanding achievements have significantly advanced the field of HTA in Canada.

The Dr. Maurice McGregor Award recognizes rising stars in HTA who, as their careers develop, have the potential to be leaders in the field.

New this year, the Dr. Murray Krahn Award of Excellence in Health Economics recognizes rising stars in health economics who, as their careers develop, have the potential to be leaders in the field.

Awarded every 5 years, the Anniversary Medals recognize individuals from throughout the health care spectrum in Canada who are driving more effective, relevant, and useful HTA.

The awards will be presented during Symposium 2024, a 3-day hybrid event that will take place at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. Learn more about the awards on our website.
