Unveiled annually, this report examines emerging health technology trends that are likely to disrupt the delivery of health care in Canda over the next 5 years and gives decision-makers an early signal to help guide health system planning.

The theme of CADTH’s 2024 Watch List is care for children and youth with medical complexity — a diverse group with a range of complex needs that can involve a reliance on technology and a range of supports. This year’s Watch List will spotlight technologies and key issues that could have a major impact on how patient care is provided for this population.
