Immune thrombocytopenia is a disorder characterized by low platelets and an increase in bleeding risk due to increased platelet destruction and impaired platelet production.

This project will review the clinical effectiveness and place in therapy of available treatments for children with immune thrombocytopenia who have not responded to first-line therapies.
