CADTH is pleased to announce recent organizational changes that are strengthening the execution of the organization’s strategic ambitions and advancing life cycle health technology management.
As part of these changes, CADTH has merged its Pharmaceutical Reviews program and Medical Devices and Clinical Interventions program into the newly established Evidence, Products, and Services business unit. Led by Sudha Kutty, Executive Vice-President, Evidence, Products, and Services, this change further aligns the work that spans these 2 programs and allow CADTH to respond to jurisdictional needs more effectively. Brent Fraser and Lesley Dunfield, in their respective roles as Vice-President, Pharmaceutical Reviews and Vice-President, Medical Devices and Clinical Interventions, report to Sudha.
Sudha has more than 25 years of experience in health care leadership at the provincial level, with leadership roles at the Ontario Hospital Association, Health Quality Ontario (now Ontario Health), and most recently at Humber River Hospital. She brings extensive expertise to CADTH, along with an impressive track record of supporting the adoption of evidence into practice. Sudha’s term came into effect on January 9, 2023.
Other organizational changes to some CADTH teams have been made to build on the talents of the leadership team and support the evolving needs of the organization in realizing its strategic objectives.
CADTH has been working with enthusiasm and determination to begin executing its ambitious goals announced as part of our Strategic Plan launch in April 2022. These organizational changes will help us further align our teams, and ultimately deliver on our purpose to power evidence-informed drug and health technology decisions for sustainable, world-class health care for all.
